"Round Hohenwart & Schellbronn" is a classic Goldstadttour in the Pforzheim city forest, slightly more demanding than the shorter Hohenwart loop but with the same highlights: Wolfsgrube, Simmerich and Hohe Warte. Start is again on Schonbornstrasse in Hohenwart, around 15 minutes by car from Schellbronn.

Right at the beginning, the route follows the fitness trail and enters Hagenschiess forest. Via Hasenackerweg and Wolfsgrubenweg, you reach the historic Wolfsgrube, a 17th-century natural monument with views toward Liebeneck. Then the route continues via Grenzweg and Heuweg deeper into the forest.

The path swings toward Schellbronner Simmerich, one of the most popular forest sections on the Biet plateau between Hohenwart and Schellbronn. Here you walk quiet pine paths and open highland sections; in spring, meadow orchards often bloom along the forest edge.

Via the scout hut and Alte Kirchenweg, the route climbs to Hohe Warte on the Biet plateau (573 m, observation tower no longer present). After descending, follow Wildmauer, Waldbronn and the return via Klebweg to Schonbornstrasse. About 18 km, medium difficulty, around 4 hours 30 minutes walking time.
