Kapellenweg Biet is a classic themed hike of the Black Forest Club Pforzheim, created for the 75th anniversary of the Catholic deanery. It crosses the Biet plateau between Nagold and Wurm valleys and connects historic chapels and churches from the 12th to the 17th century. The marked route is about 21 km long with around 5.5 hours walking time.

Official start is Hohenwart village center: from the bus stop along Wilhelmstrasse to Heilig-Kreuz Chapel, then by blue diamond marking to Hohe Warte (573 m - the observation tower no longer exists). The route continues through Hagenschiess forest, past Schellbronn water tower and the forest-climate trail, then through Schellbronn with St. Nicholas Chapel, past holiday village and outdoor pool toward Monbach valley.

Via the East Way of the Black Forest Club (black-red diamond), you reach Neuhausen: St. Sebastian Chapel, parish church of St. Urban and Vitus, Kerker-Christi Chapel, and St. Wendelinus Chapel near Steinegg with views over meadow orchards. In Steinegg, highlights include Steinegg Castle, castle chapel and Hamberg forest chapel, one of the most atmospheric sections.

Then continue via Muhlhausen with Trinity Chapel and castle, through Wurm valley to Tiefenbronn, ending at parish church St. Maria Magdalena by the town hall. From there, regular bus lines run back toward Pforzheim. Alternative starts: Badstrasse car park in Tiefenbronn or Wurmtalhalle in Lehningen.

The path is marked with blue diamond (and partly yellow diamond toward Tiefenbronn). Sturdy footwear is recommended, though much of the route is on maintained paths. From Schellbronn you can reach Hohenwart in about 15 minutes by car; if staying in Schellbronn, sections work well as half-day hikes.
You can find the GPX track with interactive map on ferienpark-schellbronn.de - official point-to-point route from Hohenwart village center to Tiefenbronn (21.3 km, not a loop).
