Monbach Gorge is one of the most beautiful nature experiences in the Northern Black Forest. A lively stream winds through moss-covered rocks - a walk that also works well for families with children.

From Schellbronn, you can reach the area comfortably as a day trip. Bring sturdy shoes and a picnic blanket - forest and water invite you to pause along the route.
A longer Goldstadttour (~15 km) with interactive map and GPX track is available on ferienpark-schellbronn.de: Nagold valley, Monbach Gorge and Hohe Warte. Start for example at Ochsenbrucke hiking car park near Unterreichenbach; alternative starts are possible from Monbach, Neuhausen or Hohenwart.
Especially after rain, the gorge is impressive: rushing water, fresh air and deep green Black Forest vegetation. It is a place that shows what the region stands for - forest, water and clear air.
